Seaward Marine Engineering are an independent family owned business. We have been serving businesses in the North East of Scotland for over 40 years. We provide practical solutions to our offshore and onshore clients. Our main service lines are fabrication, engineering, joinery, vessel and property maintenance and conversions, and heat exchange solutions.

By providing a practical, innovative and flexible approach, our clients return to us time and time again.

The business was started by Mervyn Lees back in the 1980s. Mervyn’s son, Gary Lees now manages the business and is supported by his nephew Michael Lees.

Gary and Michael use their years of experience to provide practical solutions to clients. Supporting Gary and Michael are a committed and experienced team who have all worked at Seaward for many years.

Underpinning this client focused service, is our dedication to Quality and Health and Safety standards. As such, we have been ISO 9001:2015 accredited under DNV for several years. We recognise the importance of providing a safe work environment for our employees, customers and suppliers. We work closely with our HSEQ partner to maintain and update our Health and Safety policies.

We also work closely with our sister company Seaward Industrial Supplies Limited. Seaward Industrial Supplies Limited is managed by Ian Lees. They are a supply chain company who have many years experience of sourcing items for customers and getting the items they need to where and when they need them.
