Seaward Marine was invited by a customer in 2024 to tender for the fabrication and installation of 1000-bbl storage silo tanks. Our tender was successful and fabrication started soon after.

These tanks are fabricated entirely on site at our premises in Aberdeen and we worked closely with local suppliers to lift, transport and paint these before they were delivered to our customer’s premises at Aberdeen Harbour. The inside of the tanks were also coated with a specialist coatings to prevent corrosion against the salt mud brine stored in them.

We were successful in building a further 4 x 1000-bbl storage tanks in 2025 all for the same client.

Seaward Marine was approached by a customer in 2025 to make 2 large HOP’s which had a short window for delivery. We worked with our customer to finalise the build spec and material selection of the HOPs, pointing out areas of concern or issues and worked with them to find suitable solutions.

The HOPS were 6m2 by 3m high and weighed circa 25T each. Due to the size and weight, fabrication and moving each HOP was a considerable task.

The delivery deadline was already tight, but changes in the build spec during the build, along with the size complexity of the HOPs meant the delivery deadline was even tighter. We therefore implemented round the clock shift work to ensure the clients delivery deadline was met.

We were delighted to deliver both revised spec HOPs on schedule to the vessel in Peterhead. The HOPs were ultimately used on a vessel working in the Kizomba B Field, which is off the coast of West Africa.

A boat lander removal frame, a frame which sits on the side rail of a ship where a crew transfer boat can push against while the crew transfer from Ship to ship , these are used in the offshore wind industry for the transfer of maintenance personnel .

This was requested by our client as usual on a short 6 week lead time again our personnel dug deep working round the clock to pull it off, delivered on time.
